การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทการปฏิบัติงานของสหวิชาชีพในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง เลือกตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ สหวิชาชีพที่ทำหน้าที่รับผิดชอบงานดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิงในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพระดับตำบลในจังหวัดสุโขทัย ที่ทำงานในช่วงปี 2559 - 2562 จำนวน 118 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง (ร้อยละ 89.8) อยู่ในช่วงอายุ 41-50 ปี (ร้อยละ 30.5) ประกอบอาชีพพยาบาล (ร้อยละ 48.3) กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ไม่เคยการเข้ารับการอบรมความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง (ร้อยละ 56.8) และมีความรู้ในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิงอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (ร้อยละ 56.8) การทำงานในพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่มีการประสานขอความร่วมมือจากโรงพยาบาลชุมชน สำนักงานสาธารณสุขอำเภอ องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น สมาคมชมรม เครือข่ายภาคประชาชน หรือพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ในการจัดบริการแก่ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง (ร้อยละ 89) มีระดับการปฏิบัติงานดูแลสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (2.73±0.99) มีระดับการปฏิบัติงานดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง อยู่ในระดับน้อย (2.11±0.99) ด้านปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการดูแลสุขภาพช่องปากผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะพึ่งพิง พบว่า ร้อยละ 72 ขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจในการตรวจประเมินช่องปาก และร้อยละ 79.7 ต้องการพัฒนาด้านการจัดสรรทันตบุคลากรให้พอเพียงในการปฏิบัติงานแต่ละพื้นที่

The object of this research was to investigate roles of multidisciplinary team in oral care for dependent elderly at Sukhothai sub district health promotion hospital. Data collection was carried out during 2016 to 2019. Purposive sampling was used. Samples were multidisciplinary health personnel who responsible for dependent elderly. The total sample included in this study were 118. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics. The results revealed that the majority of the total 118 cases were female (89.8%) age of 41-50 years (30.5%), most were nurses (30.5%). The majority of the sample have never attended training course of oral hygiene care for dependent elderly (56.8%). The knowledge about oral care for dependent elderly was in the moderate level (56.8%). Most of them (89%) worked in cooperate with community hospital, district public health office, local administrative organizations for the providing care for dependent elderly. Multidisciplinary team provided health care for dependent elderly at a moderate level (2.73±0.99). However, they provided oral care for dependent elderly at a low level (2.11±0.99). 72% of multidisciplinary team were lack of knowledge in oral hygiene assessment in dependent elderly. 79.7% of the sample suggested that the government should provide more dental staff for working in community level.
